On December 20, 2024, the Minister of Labour and Social Insurance Services issued Decree ΚΔΠ 455/2024, officially published in the Government’s Official Gazette. This decree mandates that employers disclose essential employment terms in the “Ergani” Information System to enhance transparency and ensure compliance with labor regulations.

Compliance Timeline and Key Deadlines

Under Article 11 of the Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions Law, as amended in November 2024, all employers must submit their employees’ contractual employment details in Ergani between January 2, 2025, and February 28, 2025.

Required Employment Data for Registration

Employers are required to input the following employment details into the Ergani System:

  1. Employer identification and contact details
  2. Type of business (if operating in the retail sector)
  3. Employee identification and personal details
  4. Registered office of the employer
  5. Work location (both the contractual location and the actual worksite at the time of registration)
  6. Job title and primary responsibilities
  7. Employment start date
  8. Contract termination date (if applicable to a fixed-term contract)
  9. Information on an indirect employer (applicable to temporary employment agencies)
  10. Probationary period terms and duration
  11. Annual leave entitlement and compensation structure
  12. Remuneration details, including payment frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, hourly)
  13. Standard daily and weekly working hours
  14. Special provisions for unpredictable work schedules
  15. Additional benefits, allowances, commissions, and cost-of-living adjustments (COLA)
